What does being on the Baltic Triangle Board involve?

We’re looking for people who’re connected to the area – you might be a resident, or run or work for a business here – who’s passionate about the area.

If you’d like to get more involved, we typically have board meetings every six to eight weeks; they alternate between first thing in the morning and after work, so that people can fit them around their working day.

And each of our board members has their own ‘portfolio’, enabling you and empowering you to focus on specific aims, within the framework of our agreed business plan.

Baltic Chair

With an interim chair currently in place, we’re on the lookout for a new chair, to drive forward our plans and support our existing board team. We’re looking for someone who’s strategic, diplomatic and visible – with great ties to the area, and the wider city. The chair’s roles include:

Communications Director

As Communications Director for Baltic Triangle CIC, you'll be the voice of the Baltic Triangle. Creating a strategic plan that ties in with our business plan, you’ll use social media, email marketing and other comms platforms to share inspiring stories about Baltic's businesses and keep the community informed about area updates and exciting events. You'll also monitor our email inbox and respond to inquiries.

Baltic Triangle Area CIC exists to promote the development of the Baltic Triangle as a creative, industrious and pioneering district – and aims to create a better place to work, live and visit. We give the Baltic Triangle an enhanced private sector voice within the city and promote a strong, clear vision for the area to local, national and international audiences.
